Located on the northwest edge of town, the Dedham Ball Park is the site of many summer activities. It features a concession stand, public address system, restrooms, and shaded bleachers.
The Dedham-Willey Little League Softball Program uses the field throughout the month of June, with children in optional kindergarten through eighth grade participating.
Sixteen-inch slowpitch teams from the area also use the ball diamond for games. The locally-sponsored Southside Lounge/Seidl Construction slowpitch team sponsors an annual tournament at our ball park.
The last Saturday of each June features our annual Dedham Celebration, which is also located at the ball park. Games of chance, food, and beverage are enjoyed by people of all ages at this traditional event.

With funding from the Dedham Booster Club, a new lighting system was installed on June 23, 2007. Volunteers from Dedham and the surrounding area supplied the labor.
Kevin Schultes of the Dedham Booster Club was instrumental in moving ahead with this project.
Tom Seidl of Seidl Electric spent the day at the ball diamond, working and overseeing the electrical operation.
Dick Tunning of Tunning Construction supplied the lift for the workers to reach the lights which stand over 40 feet high.
The lights were installed just in time for the annual Dedham Celebration and the 2007 District 1 Men's 16" Substate Slowpitch Tournament.
